Couple of things Sol does to minimizes the odds of acting on commitments that aren't real:
First & foremost, Sol never sends an email/doc/calendar event without you approving.
Over the last few weeks of private beta, Sol's gotten quite good at knowing what is a real commitment vs not.
Sol continuously learns from you to improve - each time you discard a loop, it teaches Sol.
